Supervision Services
I offer warm, reflective and supportive clinical supervision for practitioners working therapeutically with children, young people and families. My supervision provides a confidential thinking space where you can explore your client work, reflect on the therapeutic relationship, consider ethical and safeguarding responsibilities, and feel supported in your professional development.
Who I Work With
I provide supervision for PTUK members, trainee and qualified play therapists, creative arts counsellors, and practitioners or organisations supporting children and young people. Since 2017, I have offered supervision that helps practitioners feel grounded, professionally supported and able to work safely and ethically within their role.
What Supervision Can Support
Supervision can support you to reflect on client presentations, therapeutic processes, parent and carer work, school or organisational contexts, professional boundaries, record keeping, safeguarding, self-care and best practice. It is also a space to explore the emotional impact of the work and to notice what may be happening within the therapeutic relationship.
Professional Development
Supervision is not only a requirement for safe practice; it is also an opportunity for growth. I support practitioners to develop their professional identity, deepen their understanding of their work and strengthen their ability to respond therapeutically to the children, young people and families they support.
My Approach
My approach to supervision is collaborative, relational and non-judgemental. I believe that developing a trusting supervisory relationship is central to creating a safe space where supervisees can reflect honestly, ask questions, consider different perspectives and build confidence in their practice. I recognise the importance of balancing professional accountability with compassion, curiosity and care, while also supporting practitioners to notice their own needs, prioritise self-care and feel held in the emotional demands of therapeutic work.
