I began working with children in 2002 as a Registered Childminder and I soon became interested in Children's and Young People's emotional well being. I noticed that if the children in my care felt emotionally safe, secure and loved then they would thrive in all areas of their development. I completed the BA(Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies before studying to become a Certified Play Therapist.

PTUK
I qualified with Play Therapy UK (PTUK) and I am currently listed as a Certified Play Therapist on the Accredited Register of Play Therapists; accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, for Health and Social Care (PSA). I went on to complete the Post Qualifying Course in Counselling Skills with Children and Young People and in 2017 I trained as a Creative Clinical Supervisor with PTUK.
